Sending an email with your full signature with company logo is an awesome experience and good for brand promotion. If we send emails with signature containing company logo, it is good for company promotion.
It is easy to setup your html signature in window xp outlook, outlook 2010 but I have got difficulty set up my company email signature with logo in Ms-Office 2007. I have solved these issues for me and now I want to share this information with the world so that people who have this difficulty could easily solve this issue.
When you try to set up your signature in text format, it is very easy step, just follow:
1. Go to Tools>Options>Mail format
2. Click the signature button at down
3. Click the new button
4. Give the signature details like following format
XYZ company name
Email print notification
5. And click Ok
It is very easy to create text signature in outlook 2007, but when you try to insert company logo in your signature, it is quite tough. For that you have to edit the signature file to embed your picture URL in html <img> tag.
Now, You have to locate the signature files, when you create signature, there are three files created(.txt, .rtf, .htm) in application folder like following:
Window 7: C:UsersusernameAppDataRoamingMicrosoftSignatures
Window XP: C:UsersAppDataRoamingMicrosoftSignatures
You have to open that folder and replace that htm(.htm) file with your own customized html file like following format.
Prepare the htm file with the same name and replace that existing html file in application folder. Everything is done. It is the time of testing. Double click on the htm file and see the output in the web browser or send a test mail to check.
Now, restart the outlook and start using your signature. Now your signature will be changed according to your format.
